few years ago (seven or eight) and I (Especially) my cousin who will call for privacy Stanislaus Pius II, passed the time watching bad horror-slasher film. Sometimes it happened that we looked to three below beginning on Saturday evening at about seven and a half and concluding vision at night. To obtain these masterpieces trash Stanislaus Pius II was a drug dealer who had a lot of confidence and occasional small spacciatorini that selling pirate video tapes at reasonable prices (three or four thousand pounds).
The movies were all very beautiful and interesting, but because of their flatness are almost completely fallen into oblivion. A small exception is from that gem-called Mortuary Mortuary.
The small Stanislaus Pius II, then (more or less) of sixteen, she wandered the streets of Catania and got discouraged by the tedium of existence, when by chance he met one of his many drug dealers. Stanislaus Pius II came from a long period of rehabilitation and abstinence, for this reason, his encounter with the drug dealer was far from positive: Stanislaus Pius II had no intention of buying any film. But, alas, unfortunately or fortunately, the weapons at their disposal some shady characters are varied and thus, the drug dealer with air sensual and alluring uttered the following terrible words: "Amigo, I'll give this movie for free, do not you give anything to me. beautiful film of fear." The (so far) strenuous resistance of the poor Stanislaus Pius II fell and he could not help but take that object, however, and even persuaded the dealer to get paid fifteen hundred dollars. Then he went home happy and content, but also a bit 'try.
The official movie poster shows a classic image of the iconography of horror, a hand that pops out of the ground in front of a tombstone on which stand some writing truly disturbing. It 'good to say from the outset that This poster has nothing to do absolutely nothing with the contents of the film.
got to do much more (more at the level of qualitative comparison and content) instead the cover of the housing of the film brought home by the young Stanislaus Pius II: it is nothing but a color photocopy of the poster of the famous Kubrick film "A Clockwork Orange", amended with a photo editing software last generation. On the back cover you see a short description of the film that explains that the protagonist of the whole is a murderess who believes a famous ch u surgeon. " This description has nothing to do with the movie, simple chururghi one sees very few and famous churughi less.
Back home, Stanislaus Pius II showed me the singular object screaming "Robbba is good" and I proposed to see him immediately.
When I insert the tape the first image that appeared on screen was a sweet girl, maybe a model, the incredible and bursting of Venus and strabismus dall'acconciatura singular, which makes known to the viewer what actually film: a film of quality. In fact, explicitly states that only that particular home video distribution of pirate (which, unfortunately, can not remember the name) provides a wide range of films of high quality.
But here we are in the film itself. The opening scene is shocking: a poor man sitting on the edge of a pool at a distance of between 3 cm to 5 meters depending on the frame, is struck from behind by an object much like a piece of orange plastic tube held in the hand by a mysterious person that you do not see the face. But the peculiarity of this scene is that the man was hit from the right, falls to the right. After this beginning
full of tension that left me in suspense is that Stanislaus Pius II, is an endless succession of scenes of anthology: a wheel that rolls on its own within a warehouse funeral of three floors, a paurosissima ; seance on the back and many others.
The plot unfolds with bizarre suspense worthy of Hitchcock's best up to an end.
Just at the climax, when it was almost understood who the murderess, but no one knows what other crimes will make cruel, the tape stops and comes back alone, leaving viewers in disbelief and ; amazed. "This is obviously an excellent choice of technical director" told me and almost in unison Stanislaus Pius II (really out of sync by about 3 thousandths of a second) and so I thought until this morning. the choice to leave everything on hold by concluding the film without a conclusion, in the middle of a scene seemed like a brave decision by a young avant-garde.
But the disappointment often lurks around the corner (this among other things is one of 517 Zen teachings that a drunk can steal from the movie) and this morning, remembering the days when me and my cousin Stanislaus Pius II did not do much do and review this movie trying to understand the secrets, I searched on google groups words mortuary and mortuary finding various posts. One of them I was shocked and undermined the myth of the final cut. Here it is:
> Explain to me please the end? Indeed, the whole movie? ;)) heheh, actually ... S P O I L E S P O R T E R ... I did not understand why her mother finally wakes up ... maybe it was not dead but was complicit in all this? Anyway I have to see again, maybe I missed something ... #: D EmanueleNow I would like to ask those two or three people who have come together here if anybody has seen this movie, and if so, how it ends. This Emanuele has invented everything, or indeed the film ends with the awakening of the mother? Or, and this is the case for me most likely, there are two versions of the film and what I saw is the director's cut?
